fridayyyy

it was a pretty good friday yesterday
I left work around 2:30 because i had to go to Peoples to speak with the Elementary principal and while i was there, i got to see all the daycare kiddies that i LOVE (eeeee they're so cute) and the teachers that i loved too. It was really nice to go back and visit because I don't think I have visited since January or even December.

I wasn't very excited about "leading" Benjamin yesterday (because i didn't really know what to do) but it turned out GREAT because i actually didn't have to do that much. The absolutely best part about playing Charades in the beginning of the night was watching Doug act out, "rabid squirrel." WHERE is a video camera when you need one?! It was amazing the way he portrayed foaming at the mouth and a squirrel climbing a tree bahahha... we definately have to play again. And THEN one of the youth pastor candidates came in and it was nice. I feel so bad for him because he got GRILLED but he really seemed to have a heart for youth and he also seemed like a really cool guy. He's only 24 so if he was hired i guess he would become part of Benjamin too which would be fun as well.. imagine the initiation.... THEN we had the View about cults and it was quite interesting. I really like it when Doug leads the View because he's interesting (he isn't monotone) and it's always biblical so hey that's a plus.

NEXT WEEK is going to be guys vs. girls night and i'm actually REALLY EXCITED... right now, i'm imagining a cranium-jeopardy-charades hybrid. it's going to be AMAZING. (unless i forget to plan it until friday.. then it will be not so amazing haha but it's ok, the next youth pastor candidate will liven the night up)
