grr i just did the laundry and found a big hole (well not BIG but big enough for me to stick my finger through) in my favourite H&M shirt :( *sigh* H&M definitely stays true to their doctrine of disposable fashion... fashion over quality!
it's been a long week. My last midterm in my cognitive neuroscience class (I like saying that because it makes me sound smart... but I'm not haha) was yesterday morning and all I did the entire week was study about executive functioning, memory, attentional control, and object and facial recognition. Let's just say I'm happy it's over. This week, I have a feeling that all my time will be consumed with research about British theatre at the turn of the 20th century and learning to use the CLAN program for linguistics :( ALLY TEACH MEEEEEE...!!!!!! (I'M SO DEAD) haha all of this just makes me hate school.
anyway our fellowship program was really great today. I always love it when we have "The View" as our program. Today's topic was forgiveness and it was extra special because Pastor Richard came to visit and he stayed for the entire program.. (i loved the insight he contributed to the discussion!) It was good to be reminded of the necessity and the motivations behind forgiveness. Everybody has somebody in their life who has wronged them and everybody has also wronged another person so it was definitely a relevant topic (at least I know it is for me!). The best part of the evening was when we split up and all the girls got to share about how the issue of forgiveness is manifesting itself in each of our lives. Everybody was so honest and genuine - i LIVE for moments like that! Anyway, it just reinforces the fact that i LOVE BENJ.
... and i have certainly come a long way because i couldn't have said that truthfully a year ago.
