The past five days have been so awesome - best Labour day weekend ever!
THURSDAY: I got to hang out with Tracy all day and then we went to the softball banquet at night! The banquet is always a good excuse to dress up and i definitely had a good time with my team :)

FRIDAY - SUNDAY: Cottage time at Maple Island with Peoples people
i really love my high school friends. I have spent the majority of my life with them and no matter what, they are always there for me. We don't always see each other regularly during the school year but whenever we are together, it's like no time has passed. I always feel like they love me for who I am so I can be myself and yeah... I can't begin to explain how unbelievably lucky I am to still have them in my life years after high school ended. :)
It's hard to pick trip highlights since the whole thing was so AWESOME but here it goes
Trip Highlights:
SECRET SHARING TIME until 5:30am (aka trying to crack Eric)
GAMES! - Turbo Cranium, Mahjong, poker
kayaking (the water was so beautiful and peaceful - and we saw a blue Heron! so pretty)
home made potato chips
singing in the car
On another note, the trip made me feel the most athletic i have ever been. I went kayaking TWICE and then I had a "sports injury" from ultimate frisbee (that probably shows how wimpy I am but I felt very "sporty/outdoorsy" to have a "sports injury") hahah so great
After the trip on Sunday, I went to Jere's farewell party and it was pretty darn fun too :) my Harbie coach I WILL MISS YOU!!!
MONDAY:
I super slept in (loved it) and then I went to Vaughn Mills with Will, Esther, Mel, Sam & David (more Peoples people time!). It was one of the only malls that were open so it was like BOXING DAY there. There were a million people and it was really hard to find parking but it was still pretty fun :) We went to Asian Legend for dinner (my favourite!), then went to say goodbye to Char (I'm so sad i didn't get to see you that much this time!! :(), and then went back to my place to play Bohnanza. Just an all around great day.
