On Tuesday the hotdog stand lady waved to me as I approached.
Yesterday the hotdog stand lady waved to me, started grilling a hotdog when she saw me AND THEN told me that I was her best customer.
It was such a moment of pride/achievement and SHAME. Just imagine how much mixed meat has entered my stomach in order for me to become her BEST CUSTOMER *blech*
ANYWAY, I started talking to her and it turns out that she used to teach German and English in her home country and that she can speak four languages (German, English, Iranian & French). She has her university degree but can't find a job in Canada besides hawking hotdogs to university students like myself :( I wanted to give her a hug over the grill... Hopefully I'll get to talk to her some more (and my past record indicates that i WILL hah), it's nice to hear people's life stories.

nooo i abandoned that one after they raised their prices :( I go to the 2nd one in front of Sid Smith haha.. I think it's called Frankie's hotdogs or something

Wait is it the white truck that sells hot dog and fries for $3.50?
it doesn't matter KEN because I only get a beef hotdog AND when you give them a $5 bill you get $3 change so it's CHEAPER than all the other stands!
hah ren it's the middle stand out of the three stands in front of Sid Smith (so many choices!)
yo that white truck is the bomb! the gravy is free on fries! unless they've changed that since I was in school :P

When I was at UoT, I befriended one of the vending truck drivers, and when he went on vacation for a week, he gave me his truck to drive, sell food, and make a bit of money!
