friday night

we had sharing and prayer for Benj last night and it was so awesome. Not to make anybody feel bad or anything but I think those who weren't able to make it really missed out haha. I guess I can't really make a sweeping statement for everybody but I felt so blessed and encouraged at the end of the night. Honestly, I didn't think anybody would share beyond the people I had asked ahead of time (Aly, Yingers, Val & myself) but a lot of other people opened up and it was so awesome to know that God is always working. Even a few GILEADITES opened up which was WOW (usually they're so reserved and scared when they're with us). It was beyond any expectations I had. I loved hearing everybody's stories and I was able to have a really good time of sharing with Ying Ying during the prayer part so that was definitely a highlight as well.

We were also able to "commission" val before she went to Ottawa and that was a really nice moment. TEARS EVERYWHERE haha. Val, believe that God will provide for you - it's a promise He has given us and it is for us to claim!

After Benj, our girls group had a sleep over at Ying Ying's house and it was SO MUCH FUN (bevy we missed you). GIRLS I WISH I LIVED WITH YOU .... JUST IMAGINE! We'd be laughing 24/7 and we'd be so well fed(oh aly!). You girls are so awesome, it was such a privilege to get to know you this year and to be able to spend so much time with each of you.
