the past 10 days have been crazy! it was go go go the entire time and i haven't had time to collect my thoughts until now.

carol's wedding
i loved it. congratulations you two! martin welcome to the family! ahh.. a new generation of fan vans :) I'll post up some pictures once we get some of the better pictures from the photographer

extended family
my mom's younger sister's family came for carol's wedding and i LOVED IT because 1) my uncle is so funny, 2) i don't have any female cousins in toronto so the fact that BOTH OF THEM were here made me so happy. I wish they lived here!!! i think i would have a lot of fun with them. Because they were in town, i think i ate out a million times this past week. (I'm pretty sure i had sweet and sour pork at least three times) But yeah, I already miss them :(

lsat course - tuesday & thursdays 5:30-10pm
sweet mum, i'm horrible at these logical reasoning questions... and logic puzzles... i keep falling asleep in the course too hehe... i'm pretty sure the teacher sees me too since there's less than 30 people in the class. the course is pretty intensive so it's a little overwhelming. I don't know when i'm going to have time to do all the homework and prep for the stupid lsat but... i've got to make it work! (in the words of tim gunn)

friendships
i think i've been feeling disconnected not because other people have been excluding me but rather because i have been SO BUSY that i haven't able to talk/catch up with some friends in a long time.. hh it's not like i'm neglecting those relationships but i still feel like a crappy friend because i know so little about the things that are going on in my friends' lives.
So ESTHER, ALY, LOLO, CLARISSA, AND MANY OTHERS - expect some badgering soon :)

work
so busy, getting ready for the SRCD deadline so i've been coding for the past three days like mad. But I guess i can't complain, i got in some serious bonding time with one of our grad students named Julia. I super love all of my labmates and can't imagine a funner work environment :)
AND Julia's been dogsitting for a friend for the past three weeks so she brings it to the lab everyday and i super super super love it. you can carry it around like a baby and it's hypo-allergenic so i don't get all itchy and sneezy around it. it's a purebred coton-de-toulear and i LOVE IT SO MUCH I WANT TO TAKE IT HOME. She is SO CUTE *sigh*
