Reading week went past in a blur. BUT it was great while it lasted. WHY you may ask?
1) the olympics - i love love love love the olympics. I don't know why but I just do. I tear up every time a Canadian does well and I also tear up when non-Canadians do well and they tear up on screen. It's really ridiculous how emotionally invested I become but I aways have a wonderful 2 weeks when the Olympics are going on. My new hero is definitely Cindy Klassen - FIVE MEDALS during one olympics, that is absolutely insane and so inspiring at the same time. If I lived in Calgary... I would join some long track speed skating club RIGHT AWAY hah.

2) Road trip to Toledo - if you've seen me since Saturday, you know I won't shut up about how much I loved the trip. What was there NOT to love? Long car rides and silly fun with good friends are ALWAYS enjoyable. It also feels so nice to laugh every other minute. There are a million reasons why it was amazing but the best part was definitely the good conversations that took place (not that I didn't enjoy mario party and sword fighting). I am so glad that we are finally at an age where everybody can just say what's on their mind and feel safe to be honest and share what's on their heart.
