i feel rather self-indulgent after writing a kind of horrible exam so here are a few things that i would like to invest in this holiday season besides fun with friends:

long winter jacket from aritzia (clearly a post-boxing day buy)
a cleaner room
a hamster cage that cleans itself
arrested development dvds
veronica mars dvds
ipod (thanks Carol and Martin! teehee)
some szechuan cuisine
MORE soy ice cream (i ate THREE scoops today...)

and maybe a trip to Cuba... a girl can dream can't she?

The Apprenti
i've been watching a lot of tv since wednesday to relieve my pent up exam angst and the BEST moment so far was when Randal said, "This is not the Apprenti" and thereby cancelled Rebecca's chance of a job with Mr. Trump. OH MAN, what incredible television. I felt so bad for her, she probably wanted to wring his neck right there on stage.. so brutal. That moment gave "so close yet so far" a whole new meaning.

New snack
I bought a container of Strawberry So Good ice cream on Tuesday and I'm already half done. It's really ridiculous. My rate of consumption has skyrocketed ever since I realized that putting a scoop of the strawberry ice cream into a cup of orange juice tastes JUST LIKE the smoothies that Ralph used to blend for us at his house. I LOVE IT - it tastes SO GOOD (har har, because it is so good.. get it.. same brand name... NEVER MIND)
