"thank you for hearing me"

it's funny, God always manages to remind me that i'm not alone when i'm feeling like poo. It's a nice feeling... AND it invalidates all my complaining.

This past weekend felt so super-sized. On Saturday, i woke up bright and early to help Melody clean/move stuff out of her living/dining room. We were SO PROUD of ourselves when the two of us moved a couch through her mini door frame out onto her lawn ALL BY OURSELVES!!! YES! Maybe the couch was really light or MAYBE our muscles are just that fantastic.

Another highlight from that portion of the day was when Adrian discovered Mel's Bissell Carpet Sweeper and used it to vaccuum up pens, coins, film cannisters, and dust on the walls. Now THAT was funny. He also tried to vaccuum up my foot and a lamp.. UNSUCCESSFUL. BUT the worst part was when Adrian did an "off the ropes" off of melody's porch into my back :( that hurt.

On Sunday, I led worship and it was oddly stressful this time around. Just tons of little things were getting to me and i kept having this overwhelming sense of inadequacy but in the end i think it turned out alright. My voice was giving out as the set progressed on (i think i am getting sick) but a sense of God's presence kind of washed over me when we sang Thank You for Hearing Me so yeah... i don't know. Those little things that were bothering me just didn't seem to matter so much after that.

In the afternoon Cherubims had a game against Reconciliation and that was really exciting because our team hasn't had a game for 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately we lost in a very close game but i can say that i still had a lot of fun hanging out with the team. Everybody brings something unique to the team and the best part is that I'm always laughing with someone so i'm a pretty happy camper. I can't wait to play our next game.

I got home at around 11 after hanging out with the team at the Fellowship's games and T-Bone's and because i didn't feel like sleeping yet, i watched the notebook until almost 2. HAhah, one of the best chick flicks known to man. I love that movie so much and that ryan gosling... lol he's come a long way since Breaker High. I want to find a Noah Calhoun!!!
