one fine day

I had a really awesome day yesterday. It's so strange, some days it feels like everything horrible is going wrong at the same time and other days it's like all these really fun happy things happen at the same time. Life really needs to spread these things OUT you know!

So yesterday was one of those everything was so good kind of days. I worked until 1:30 and then i watched the movie Crash with Amanda (in her miniskirt!) at the Cumberland Theatre. We got lost for a bit but it was great once we got there :) It was a pretty good movie and every single famous but not as famous as tom cruise star was in it (ex. brendan fraser, don cheadle, ryan phillippe, sandra bullock, LUDACRIS what the heck... even that korean guy from Lost was in it for 30 seconds). So yeah, it was worth my $9.50 because it had some really touching moments but it was overall, a very sad and very depressing movie. Oh man.. it's just one of those movies that makes you remember how ugly and flawed the human character can be. I mean, it was a movie about racism within and between different races so it is obviously not going to be all sunshine and lollipops... ALTHOUGH the movie did illustrate that people can change. Some characters changed for the better while others changed for the worse so it was hopeful and really horribly miserable at the same time. But it was nice to spend time with Amanda even though we were really depressed after the movie haha

In the evening, we had softball practice and i have no idea what was wrong with me but i could hit, catch, and throw the ball. that NEVER happens. it was so odd yet so thrilling at the same time haha. I woke up with really stiff muscles this morning but i think it was worth it. so it was a five star kind of practice for me but it's official, i think i used up my "good softball playing" quota for the season so really it's down hill from here baby :)

THEN after practice i was super craving soy ice cream so i went to the Dominions on Yonge St and who do i see once i get in? ADRIAN... his gait and broad shoulders are unmistakable. So that was nice too, i love bumping into random people in really random places.

The fun even continued when i got home. After I showered, i had a really good phone conversation with esther and then i was able to book a really cheap flight to texas!!! EEEEEE!!!! so i can actually say that i am going to see char and josh and little maddie for SURE now. i am really excited and can't believe that i'm going in a little over a month.

so yeah, great day or what?! i don't know how i'm going to top that.. if i somehow got a free shopping spree or like a life supply of rice krispy squares OR a hamster that cleaned its own cage then maybe.. but i don't know, it's going to be hard!
