oh Loblaws

Wednesday was the grand opening of Loblaws at Bayview Village. I have to confess, i was VERY excited and enthralled at the thought of going to Loblaws at night after dinner. ALL DAY i thought, "YES i am going to LOBLAWS!!! EEE!!!" I was hoping that there'd be some ridiculous opening day specials or something and i was so pumped to go. So, after perusing other Bayview Village stores until closing time, I went to Loblaws (it closes at 10) and sweet mother, there were so many people. SO MANY PEOPLE. I was so overwhelmed because there were so many people... it was horrible! Everybody had a cart and so there was no room to walk around in aisles and i felt very claustrophobic even though Loblaws itself is so big. I don't think it is as big as the Loblaws near Jason Cheng's house but i was still wowed by its size. ALTHOUGH i heard this guy walking by me saying, "You know it's not as big as i though it would be." WHAT...!? I guess he was expecting something like the SkyDome or the Taj Mahal or something

However, i propose some changes to make the experience better.
1) Make all the carts little mini carts (like the kind that kids can push). The aisles will be less congested UNLESS people decide to take multiple carts. .. then that will solve nothing haha.
2) Make WIDER MOVATORS. Man alive... just waiting to go up the movator to the grocery store part took forever.
3) Free food. Free food makes everything better.
4) No children under 10 haha. This means no baby carriages and no little kiddies getting lost.

Anyway, we had softball practice last night and i played well again. Now that is mind-boggling. The best part is that the field we played at was super duper dinky so my hits looked deceivingly big hahaha.. gah so great.
